Tara Rodriguez
Hi, my is Tara and I’m your owner and instructor here at TLDC! I graduated from Cozad High School in 2022 and in December of 2023 graduated with my degree in Early Childhood Eduction. I then spent two and a half years in the classroom helping out my amazing little friends.
Dance has been apart of my life since the first time I could hear music. My aunt Kim Terry owned and operated KT Tumblers in Cozad where I found my love of dance and gymnastics. When she closed I continued dancing for In Motion Dance and Gymnastics through my senior year of high school.
During my time I trained in Tap, Ballet, Lyrical, Jazz, Clogging and Hiphop. I also competitively danced for the studio. I started assistant teaching dance at the age of 14 while also assistant teaching for Gymnastics West in Cozad before teaching with them in Gothenburg for multiple years.
I have 10 years of dance teaching experience, 10 years of gymnastics coaching and am currently on year 5 of my own studio.
I absolutely love teaching dance and tumbling to kids of all ages but, have a soft spot for my littles.
Jacob Rodriguez
Jacob is my husband. We recently got married in May of 2026 after being together for 6 years.
He is my absolute rock and has been by my side since before I even realized I wanted to open my own dance studio.
Jacob does not specialize in any type of dance nor does he do any teaching at the studio. He is however, in his final year of college at UNK working on his degree in Kindergarten - 12th grade physical education. This did include a dance class that he is very proud to have passed with flying colors!
You can catch him at a few competitions, dance recitals, programs and doing manual labor around the studio every once in a while.
Now he can’t answer a single question about proper dance technique but, he will gladly show you were the microwave and snacks are!
Jacob is my absolute best friends and biggest supporter and I would not be where I am today without him!
The LINN & RODRIGUEZ Family
Throughout this journey there is two other people that I would like to introduce as they built my foundation of hard work, commitment and love of the industry around. My parents Joe and Julie Linn show up at almost every program, recital, competition and studio work night without complaint. It didn’t matter when I was 2 or 22 they showed me what my future could be and helped me reach every goal I have ever set.
Joe - My dad can often be found handing out tickets at recital or changing light bulbs and fixing toilets at the studio. However, my very favorite days with my dad at the studio are my annual father-daughter date nights. He comes in with horrible dance moves, learns and assists in teaching the other dance dads. Realistically he might only be coming for the snacks but, I would bet on him enjoying spending time with my dance families!
Julie - My mom can be found doing anything and everything behind the scenes. She is my “CHAOS COORDINATOR” and I would be lost without her. Helping to fit shoes and costumes to keep things moving. Running the show backstage during recital and driving to all the competitions because I can’t stand driving on the interstate. She shows up ready to take on a task because she loves the dance world just as much as I do. She may not have grown up dancing herself but, after watching me for the last 20 years I would like to say she has picked up on a thing or two!
My family is foundation that built this program and I would not be successful without the guidance I have received and the toilets that have been fixed without them!
My family is your family in this studio.
